Ian

Andrew Dewing - Chairman

Andrew established Dewing Grain in 2006 to provide farmers and processors of combinable crops with a locally based grain merchant. Based in Aylsham, the agricultural heartland of Norfolk, Dewing Grain has grown into a well-respected independent grain trading business managing over 250,000 tonnes of grain annually, with a turnover in excess of £30 million.

Andrew’s diversification of his business interests to include property development is in keeping with his determination to maintain the balance of the rural economy and to ensure that village development is sustainable and environmentally sympathetic whilst providing affordable homes for Norfolk people.

Over the last few years Andrew has undertaken a number of one-off private developments and is keen to scale up this area of interest with the launch of Dewing Properties.


Ian

Ian Webster - Director

The son of a Norfolk farmer, Ian brings to Dewing Properties both knowledge of the local farming community and a background in property.

After graduating from Bristol University Ian moved back to Norfolk and worked as a trainee chartered surveyor with Savills. He joined Dewing Grain as a trader in 2009 and is now Trading Director of the company. Ian has undertaken a number of small developments personally, but is keen to use his surveying background to grow Dewing Properties into a respected local development company.

We are delighted to announce our first major project is Mundesley Beck in Mundesley, North Norfolk. Working with our team of very talented professionals at Chaplin Farrant, Bidwells, Rossi Long and Richard Utting Associates, a detailed planning application has been approved subject to the satisfaction of a number of conditions by North Norfolk District Council for 44 dwelling including 8 affordable and shared ownership properties.

Consent to Approve

11 May 2016
Dewing Properties are delighted to announce that on the 4 May 2017 NNDC approved the resolution to consent.

We will be working with the council to satisfy all the conditions and expect to be on site in November 2017.

Further Development

Dewing Properties are excited by the first major development (subject to planning) in Mundesley.

We will work with landowners to either secure development value for their land, purchase it outright or work in partnership to achieve the best value.

If you have land with development potential we would like to talk to you whether it be for 5 or 50 dwellings, with or without planning permission.
